About
Phil Choi is a Korean-Australian-German director whose work engages with contemporary culture, transnational themes and intimate character storytelling.

A two-time Sports Emmy winner and a Clio Sports Bronze recipient, he has been recognized for his commercial work in esports, notably on the League of Legends World Championship, one of the most-watched live events in the world.

His debut documentary feature T1 Rose Together was theatrically released in South Korea and later distributed internationally via Red Bull TV and Apple TV.

His narrative short Bittersweet won Best Actor at the BAFTA-qualifying Manchester Film Festival.

He is currently developing his debut narrative feature.
